seems we have the resources here in New Mexico anyway. i just begin to wonder if they are actually exploited. if so then i need to find out where the money is going to that Richardson is still taking stimulus money. if they are not exploited, why not? it is time to drill baby drill.

i cannot but wonder how politicians talk about balancing the budget so fiercely you would think a 5 years plan would be too long for comfort. yet when i went through Rep. Paul Ryan's plan, with all due respect to the gentleman's research and ideas, i was left mouth agape . . . 2080! wow. that is the year America is going to start having a surplus. seventy years from now. that is almost a generation. i guess i will not be around when America starts having surpluses. how sad.

we all are hearing about massive recalls for the Toyota cars and the other day, the US transport boss said to congress that Americans should not drive Toyota out rightly. there is no doubt that there is that concern but i wonder if if that was the case with, lets say Ford, he would have been so blunt.
nevertheless there is no doubt that Toyota has screwed up big time. in this business of cars where competition is so aggressive, it could be a serious set back for Toyota and an advantage for US car industry. hence it could aptly be phrased 'advantage GM/Ford'.

now i am a tech lover and a tech savvy person,but when it comes to movies, i am a little conservative as to the extent of CGI and all that. and while movies are not 'real', lets face it, a good movie to me will be one that i can possibly imagine.
talking about Avatar, strange green species, the state the art military hardware and a spooky evergreen forest made me for a long time try to balance the media sensation and the fiction.
well i watched it the other day and guess what. . .true, the tech is a little exaggerated but men, the story line is superb and the actors are on their job.
another thought about it is, did it not seem like what happened to the native Americans here in the states when they were chased out of their lands because they were sitting on gold? now that's a talking point.

stink
it is funny how people think, i mean even some people you will think as very educated. figure this out and let me get your take.
a bunch of graduate students, cross cultural are hired to be graduate assistants. at the tail end of their contract all three X nationals are told they will not be rehired siting limited finance. then the very next week, somebody different is hired.
is this correct? should the 3 X nationals who were fired bring a case?
